Calls needed right now on New Hampshire transgender discrimination bill!

Please grab your phone and make these important calls right now — it will only take a few moments but will make a huge difference.

The transgender discrimination/hate crimes bill, HB 415, will be voted on by the New Hampshire House of Representatives in the coming days. Legislators must hear from you right now.

In committee, the vote on the bill was 10–10. Using the link below, find information for your legislators, call them and then get everyone you know to call theirs too. At this point, opponents are out-calling and out-e-mailing us, but we can do better than them!

Phone calls are the most effective way to show your support, especially with the vote this week. If you decide to send e-mails instead, please state your support for HB 415 directly in the subject line.

Here is a sample of what to say: "My name is _______ and I am a constituent in your district. I strongly believe that discrimination should have no place in New Hampshire. Please vote yes on HB 415 to end discrimination and hate violence against our neighbors, friends or family who are transgender."
